- Assemble all ingredients


- In moderately heated pan, add oil add ginger + 1 green chilli and sauté for few seconds, then add carrot + beetroot and sauté for 3-4 minutes.


- Then add salt + haldi + garam masala, mix well and sauté for another 3-4 minutes, don’t overcook.


- I made bread crumbs at home, toasted bread pieces and churn in mixer grinder, bread crumbs is ready.

- Mashed potatoes


- Then add carrot + beetroot mix to mashed potato + bread crumbs and mix well. Give shape of cutlets or any shape of your choice.


- Make slurry by adding maida + salt + red chilli powder + water. We need a thin slurry but not watery slurry.


- Now dip cutlet in slurry, then coat with bread crumbs all over nicely and keep aside. Do this process with each cutlets.



- Now in pan add oil, shallow fry cutlets under low to medium flame till golden brown, flip the other side and fry well.


- Now cutlets are ready.



- Serve with green chutney or tomato sauce.
